On Wednesday 5th October, Year 3 and Year 5 classes were very lucky to attend a Mindfulness Workshop delivered by ‘One Day Creative’.
The workshop focused on the children’s self-awareness, emotional wellbeing and promoted resilience.
The enthusiastic and inspirational facilitator, Sam, kept the children engaged throughout as the children were able to access and participate in all the activities, as they were pitched perfectly.
The children and staff are looking forward to continuing working with ‘One Day’, as their creative work offers the children invaluable Life Skills.

One day Creative say: Our issue-based creative Mindfulness practice day engages pupils, families and schools in understanding our thoughts, feelings, anxiety and stress-management. We believe children of all ages who participate in these workshops will grow in confidence and gain key life skills which will help them understand themselves, and allow them to help others.
