Local Church CELEBRATING – People celebrate in Church Pupils will know and understand what a celebration is. Pupils will know and understand how the parish family celebrate |
Pentecost GOOD NEWS – Passing on the Good News of Jesus Pupils will know and understand that everyone has good news to share. Pupils will know and understand Pentecost: the celebration of the Good News of Jesus. |

Judaism SPECIAL DAYS/ RITUAL OBJECTS – Hannukkah Pupils will know about the Feast of Lights and the Hannukah Menorah. Pupils will know through the story the Jewish belief that God takes care of his people. |
Eucharist GATHERING – Parish family gathers to celebrate Eucharist Pupils will know and understand what a celebration is. Pupils will know and understand how the parish family celebrate. |
Reconciliation/Anointing of the sick FRIENDS – Friends of Jesus Pupils will know and understand we can make friends. Pupils will know and understand that Jesus had good friends and what Jesus tells us about friendship. |

Baptism/Confirmation WELCOME – Baptism: a welcome to God’s family Pupils will know and understand ‘What is to welcome and be welcomed’. Pupils will know and understand Baptism: a welcome to God’s family. |
Lent/Easter GROWING – Looking forward to Easter Pupils will know and understand that spring is a time when things begin to grow. Pupils will know and understand Lent – a time to grow in love to be more like Jesus and to look forward to Easter. |
Islam SPECIAL DAYS/ RITUAL OBJECTS – Prayer mats and the Qur’an Pupils will consider special objects in their lives. Pupils know that Muslims treat the Qur’an with great respect.
