Through ‘Sport Premium’ the Government is providing a budget to schools to support the delivery of PE and sport in primary schools.
This funding will be ring fenced, and will be allocated directly to the primary schools across England providing them dedicated resources to buy in invaluable expertise and support. Primary schools are able to determine what they believe to be the most appropriate use of the funding.
The funding amount schools receive is based upon the number of children of primary age the school has. The sport premium is to be used to increase the quality and breadth of PE and Sport provision while increasing participation in PE and sport.
The 2020-21 PE Budget for St Anne’s RC School is £17 810.
