A reminder: the online game Fortnite is the the news again because of serious concerns about the amount of time – and other issues – that young people are spending on this game….so this advice to is being brought to parents notice again.
We have received information about the National Online Safety newsletter which aims to keep parents and pupils up to date with the latest online safety news, and providing practical tips and advice.
THEY SAY: You may have come across pupils talking about the game Fortnite. As with many online games, Fortnite: Battle Royale comes with risks to children and young people. The game is PEGI rated at 12+ however, there is no proof of age required, which can expose younger children to violent content as well as inappropriate comments from older users.
