Active Kids is changing
Parents, Carers and Friends of St Anne's,
I have received this email from Sainsbury's Active Kids and I want to share it with you.
To everyone at St Anne's RC Primary School,
Thank you for being involved in Active Kids over the last few years.
We're extremely proud of what Active Kids has achieved since it launched in 2005. With the support of Sainsbury's customers and organisations like you, we've donated over £185m worth of equipment and experiences to over 40,000 schools and clubs, and provided training for 9,000 teachers.
After 13 years, now is the time to take a fresh look at how we can keep kids active. We want to concentrate on the areas where we can make the biggest difference, which is why we'll be announcing a new approach to Active Kids. This will no longer involve exchanging vouchers for equipment and experiences and so Active Kids, in its current form, will come to an end.
As there are no vouchers to collect in store this year, you won't be receiving welcome packs. There will still be time to redeem any banked vouchers you might have before the end of the school year so now's a good time to start thinking about exchanging them for some great Active Kids equipment. We'll be in touch with more information on how you can do that soon.
In the meantime, we would like to thank you for supporting us with everything we've done so far to help children lead healthier lives.
The Active Kids team
On behalf of the staff and children, thank you so much for your continuous support.
