Using the Sports Premium - and school budget - we at St. Anne's are keen to develop and extend opportunities for our pupils to learn new sporting activities. Therefore, we aim to provide an extensive programme of activities such as:
- Derwent Hill visits
- Fencing ........and many more.
Many of these activities utilise the skills of external clubs and facilities. Sometimes coaches come into school; at other times our pupils travel to a specialist provider such as the Puma Tennis Centre.
Year 3 and 4 working out with Freddie Fit.
Dance and gymnastics with Mrs Diane Greenwell.
Cyber Coaching leading keep-fit sesssions ....even in the classroom.
Lunchtime Activities with Premier Sports.
Football Coaching with SAFC. Whatever the weather, whatever the age, none are too old or too young.
Year 3 enjoying a tennis lesson ready for a tennis tournament at the Puma Centre.
This was organised by Leanne Hanson from St. Anthony's Academy and Graeme Fowler from the Puma Centre.
Some energetic Irish Dancing......good for developing coordination and fitness.
