To live happily, love unconditionally and learn enthusiastically with Jesus by our side

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to St. Anne’s R.C. Primary School website.

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our school website.  Our mission at St Anne’s is ‘Too live happily, love unconditionally and learn enthusiastically with Jesus by our side.’  I hope that you will join us in our mission and be part of your child’s journey and that you can witness all of their school life experiences as the academic year unfolds.

Our website is here to inform you about the exciting and amazing things which are happening in our school, in our parish and the wider community. Our website is updated daily and will allow you to access every aspect of your child’s education. It will inform you and support you in wider issues which concern your child and their happiness and welfare. Please enjoy exploring our website and we look forward to keeping you updated throughout the year.

St. Anne’s is a special place where everyone works together to ensure the best possible opportunities for our children.
Everyone is treated with respect and children are always praised and encouraged to do their best.
We want every child to enjoy and succeed while they are with us and be fully prepared for their future.
We value the partnership between home and school and we are working hard to develop this even further with the help of our parents.
We are very lucky to have such supportive parents who want the best for their children.

St. Anne’s R.C. Primary School is situated in Pennywell in Sunderland and is in the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. It is an average-sized primary school with 208 pupils on roll, with 26 part-time Nursery children. The standard admission number is 30.
