We promote a democratic ethos in school as we really want to promote "British Values".
A fundamental "British Value" is to encourage respect for democracy and support participation in the democratic process.
During the year, articles are added to the website to show how we are enabling Democracy in Action at St Anne's
and how we are Challenging Stereotypes and promoting Equality.
School Council News and other aspects of promoting "British values" - including celebrating different views and faiths- will also be included.
During the year, staff at St Anne's include lessons and whole school events which inculcate respect for British Institutions.
The articles and photographs below will show a range of activities supporting and promoting this aim.
Some of the extra curricular activities offered to our pupils also support the promoting of "British Values".
An important aspect of British Values is to contribute positively to the lives of people living and working in the locality and the wider community. This section will include a number articles and photographs showing how the children, parents and staff of St. Anne's School are making some positive contributions.
